Last week our Media Manager, Chris Manly, and Communications Consultant, Ella Chamberlain, attended the WA State of the State – Focus on Mining and Energy.

Hon. Reece Whitby MLA, Minister for Environment and Climate Action, and Hon. David Michael MLA, Minister for Mines and Petroleum, discussed the future of mining and energy in Western Australia and highlighted the importance of WA critical minerals in the global energy transition.

The event featured a panel discussion with industry leaders, including Chris Campbell from Alinta Energy, Sinead Booth from Fortescue, and Paul Williams from WSP. The panel explored the significant contributions of the mining sector to renewable energy and sustainability and outlined some of the necessary steps to meet the increasing demands for renewable resources.

The presentation and discussion provided an overview of State Government priorities and will enable us to continue to support our clients in navigating the dynamic mining and energy sectors.
