More than 8,000 people visited the 2018 Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG 2018) held at the Perth Exhibition & Convention Centre (PCEC) over three days in March earlier this year.

AOG 2018 Event Director, Bill Hare, said the strong attendance figures were a good reflection of the returning confidence in the state of the Australian oil and gas industry.

“The feedback we have had from exhibitors has been very positive, and that has already been reflected in the number of companies that have re-booked for 2019,” Mr Hare said.

Platform Communications worked alongside event organisers – Diversified Communications – to coordinate and deliver three industry forums, which attracted over 1,600 people over the course of the show.

And, we’ve signed on again.

The 2019 edition of AOG will include an exciting new development, with next year’s event set to showcase a New Energies Zone, featuring products and services relating to remote power generation, renewables, cleaner energy, alternative fuels, and energy efficiency.

“AOG has been successful for a very long time as it has always been an event that moves with the times and industry needs and we see this is a critical next step,” continued Mr Hare.

Submissions are now open for the 2019 Subsea Forum. The Subsea Forum Committee is seeking abstracts from subsea professionals on long distance tiebacks, subsea geoscience, decommissioning, life extension, offshore renewable energy, and other topics impacting the Australian subsea industry now and into the future.

Speaker proposals and applications close 7 September 2018. Detailed information, including evaluation criteria and frequently asked questions, are available online. Please contact the AOG conferences team at aog@divevents.com.au with any questions.
